Last night we had the privilege to induct 3 new members! Welcome Rita, Carlos, and Siri to our Rotary Family!
As part of the Teddy Bear Program. The club recently donated several stuffed toys in support of the Golden Manor's summer carnival.
Snuggling with a stuffed animal has many positive results, such as increasing happiness and calm, reducing agitation and anxiety, and increased engagement through play.

On the evening of May 31st. A check was presented to Project Love and First Baptist Church as part of Rotary’s $12,000 donation to community groups. Pictured from First Baptist Church is Michelle White and Marlice MacLead from Project Love. Rotarians Ross MacIvor, June Woodburn and Nancy Richards share in the check presentation. A few weeks earlier, representatives from The Lord’s Kitchen, Anti Hunger Coalition Timmins, Timmins Food Bank, South Porcupine Food Bank and Spruce Hill Lodge gathered to accept their Rotary donations.

Last night at our regular meeting we donated $12,000 to local organizations including: Timmins Food Bank, South porcupine food bank, First Baptist Church, Anti Hunger Coalition, The Lord's Kitchen, Project Love and Spruce Hill lodge . We were able to do this due to our volunteering with the Timmins Charitable Gaming Association and other fundraisers such as Lobsterfest to go! To get your lobster visit store.rotarytimmins.org.
